My picture books are geared to capture the interest of 1-6 year old children as parents read the books to them.

Sally the Seasick Salmon is based on a tale my father told to me when I was a child. The story is a warm, humorous tale about a young salmon who leaves her familiar stream and follows her friends toward the sea. Although Sally tries to do what every salmon is “supposed” to do, she discovers that the ocean makes her terribly seasick. Despite being told that salmon do not turn back, Sally trusts what she knows about herself and makes the long journey home alone. There, Frog and Snail welcome her back without judgment, and Sally discovers that sometimes finding where you belong means having the courage to follow your own path.

Forever Friends is a tale of the friendship between Pip the Jackrabbit and Fern the Fox. Natural enemies, these two are youngsters when they escape in the forest after being captured by a human. Their friendship endures, despite their differences. Both are ‍$15.00 on Amazon.com
